The Unfiltered El Águila Especial maintains the same recipe as our Special Lager, a beer with a characteristic flavor that combines the intensity of caramelized malt with the freshness of a blend of hops. The difference that we eliminate the filtration process, thus keeping all the yeast inside the beer. The result is that you can enjoy the beer as fresh from the fermentation tank.
The result of this production process is a special lager of 5.5% alcohol by volume, naturally cloudy and full-bodied, enhanced by the absence of beer filtration and by the use of the hopping technique called 'late hopping' , which consists of adding hops at the end of the cooking process. A method that intensifies the aroma of the Lemondrop® hops used in the recipe and that adds freshness to the beer.
In this way, we can appreciate all the smoothness in the mouth of this great beer, which thanks to its production process and its serving ritual, has a great body and freshness.
